ABOUT THE COMPETITION
Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA and Anand and Anand (LEGAL500 First Tier firm Patent and Trademark practices, India 2013; IFLR IP Firm of the Year- India 2012;The Best of the Best 2012 Patents- Legal Expert Guide; Managing Intellectual Property- Tier 1 firm Patent Contentious; Trademark Prosecution; Trademark Contentious and Copyright, India 2012) are proud to announce the 13th Annual Raj Anand Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition, inspired by the memory of late Shri Raj Anand. The Competition will take place at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on August 31-September 01, 2013.
The Annual Raj Anand Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition is dedicated to the promotion and awareness of Intellectual Property and has set a benchmark for aspirants looking to join the legal profession. The organizer’s aim through this event is to reinforce their commitment towards the enrichment of Intellectual Property Rights. The Competition aims to provide law students with practical exposure to the complex Intellectual Property issues and encouraged to participate, research and develop new skills in this field of growing importance.
The moot court proposition, format, schedule, etc. is innovative and geared to draw the best out of the participants. The Moot Court Proposition for this year’s competition is an exciting one and throws up questions on many Intellectual Property issues.
This year is special as it will also mark Anand and Anand Firm’s 90 year anniversary and promises to be a grand event.
