Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA in collaboration with Cinema of the World has organised a Workshop on ‘From Words to Visuals: The Journey of Filmmaking’ on Monday, July 24, 2023 from 01:00 PM – 04:00 PM in the Auditorium.

The workshop would provide insights into the world of filmmaking, techniques, and the art of storytelling, thereby inspiring and empowering students who wish to pursue their dreams in this creative field.

About Resource Persons:
Mr Parlav Chaudhary | Writer and Director | Founder of Cinema of the World

With a strong background in writing and directing, Mr. Parlav has undergone extensive training at a prestigious film school in Los Angeles. He has also had the privilege of collaborating with industry stalwarts such as Justin Chadwick, AR Rahman, Mani Ratnam, and Vishal Bhardwaj on various Hollywood & Bollywood projects.

What sets Mr. Parlav apart is his unwavering passion for cinema beyond mainstream films. Inspired to create a festival that celebrates extraordinary movies and aims to make them accessible to a wider audience, he firmly believes in the power of sharing cinematic experiences. Mr. Parlav is dedicated to realizing this vision for everyone.

Mr. Parlav's experiences in both Hollywood and Bollywood have enriched his expertise in the field of filmmaking. During his downtime, he delves into reading and writing, drawing inspiration from notable authors such as Henry Cecil Leon, Kavita Kane, and Apostle Mark. This pursuit of simplicity and profoundness has shaped his unique approach to storytelling.

About Resource Persons:
Dr Shailender Singh, Head-Research, Symbiosis International (Deemed University) @ NOIDA Campus

Dr. Shailender Singh’s area of research includes Health System Efficiencies, Sustainable Development Goals, Global Macroeconomic Variables, and Management Practices in MSMEs.

Dr Shailender held academic positions at I-Shou University Taiwan, SRM University-AP, Amity University Noida, Management Development Institute of Singapore, and Linton University Kolej, Malaysia.

Dr Shailender did Postdoctoral research at the School of Management, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and also received his M.B.A, C.F.A, and Ph.D. in the area of finance. He has presented various research papers at international conferences held in Russia, Bucharest, Czech Republic, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Serbia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Istanbul. Forty-four research papers are credited to him, which are published in quality journals around the globe.
