“When the cat is away, the rats are at play”. Oh what fun it is to relish the newfound freedom no matter how short lived it is. Away from home with independence at its zenith, one was sure to commit foul but the ideals and epitomes that our institution instils within us makes us way ahead of 20.4% students perusing law in India.

Five years hence meant a lot but believe it or not I simply go clueless when questioned about my close to three years stay in SLS-Noida. It seems like yesterday when I first stepped into this institution. The Professors, lectures, study materials provided to us was second to none. That is the time when I could actually feel the vibes of becoming a law undergraduate, under my nerves.

Floating in the mainstream weeks after weeks, one tends to forget what’s happening in the tributaries, the little rivulets of creativity. To begin with my freshmen year was chockfull with an assortment of extra-curricular activities. Ranging from Symbhav ‘nukkad natak’ 2011 to the organizing of ‘sports fest’ earlier this year. The authorities offered incredible support in coping up with my academics as well as the extra-curricular.

It is said that a new generation begins after 12 years but the present fresher’s have started making me feel old since day one! The tremendous energy and enthusiasm that they work with is second to none. Their spontaneity in showcasing their talents makes me awestruck for a while. Wrapping up with my article here all I want to say is that twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
