I came to SLS, NOIDA with a lot of hopes and aspiration of becoming a good and a successful lawyer, and am not disappointed. Coming from a residential school in Mussoorie, I was in the habit of doing work and pestering my teachers for their help and guidance. It’s the same here, the teachers are friendly, easily-approachable and are well versed with their subjects. The first day in is always the best and the worst day for a newbie in college. Best because you step into a complete new world and loads of challenges and promises, worst because you don’t know anyone. My first day was the same but within a week I had found a really good group of friends and had been promised a tremendous future. Within a month I was settled. The college has access to various international legal databases and didn’t waste time and introduced us to various legal researching sites. The college has different cells for various events, like the Moot Court Cell, Cultural Cell, Sports Cell, MUN Cell etc. each cell has its own body and way of functioning.

All the students are encouraged to participate in various intra and inter college events. Our director is available at all times if a student is facing any sort of problems from accommodation to representation in other colleges. The college is also about to start its own fest, which is huge sign how quickly the college is growing. Entertaining and knowledge boosting guest lectures are organized at regular levels. People at high posts are asked to come and share and shed knowledge on the young and budding lawyers. Moot courts and research papers are a must for each law student. In the very first year I was given a chance to represent the college in a national level moot. With the help of teachers and well stocked library our team entered into the semi final. Though we lost in the semi’s the experience was an enthralling one. With a great infrastructure and ample opportunities to show case your talents, I can proudly say that I am a SYMBIAN.
